Dr. Herwig R. Friedag
An internationally recognized expert and advisor in strategic management. As an independent consultant, he has collaborated for years with Dr. Walter Schmidt at Friedag Consult. He specializes in implementing his proprietary approach to the Balanced Scorecard in the European model. For 20 years, he has supported owners and managers in developing long-term growth strategies, building organizational capacity, and executing strategies for family businesses.

Founder of the International Network of Strategy Experts, he is the author of the Balanced Scorecard concept based on creating enterprise value while considering stakeholder needs. For many years, he managed the Public Relations Committee of the International Controllers Association (ICV). A specialist in cross-cultural management, he serves as the Leader of the ICV European Working Group (analyzing business performance and development strategies for European companies) and is the author of numerous publications on BSC implementation and management.
